In text citations

In-text citation requires that the last name of the author and the year of publication be inserted into the text.

Example:
Nakley (2015) states that...
OR
...(Nakley, 2015).
 
Example:
Lee (2021) claims that...
OR
...(Lee, 2021).

Reference list

Last name, Initial(s). (Year). Article title. Journal title in italics, Volume number in italics(issue or part number), page numbers. DOI

Examples:
Nakley, S. (2015). On the unruly power of pain in Middle English drama. Literature and
