There are a few tools which are freely available to help you with citing and creating reference lists in the APA (7th ed.) style, however none of them are perfect which is why it is important you know the basics of referencing and the key points to be aware of. Microsoft Word for example includes a simple referencing tool, this can be found in the references tab in Word. You will need to manually enter the details required for the reference but the tool will then format the reference for you. Please note, currently Word only supports APA (6th ed.).
