Mae'r dudalen hon hefyd ar gael yn Gymraeg

Classical Works

When you are referencing classical  works e.g. Bible passages, you only need to cite these in the text of your paper.  They do not need to be included in the reference list.

In text citations

“Direct quote" (Book Chapter:Verse, Version).

In Psalm 25:4 (The New King James Version) it states that...

"Show me Your ways, O Lord; Teach me Your paths" (Psalm 25:4, The New King James Version).

Indicate which version is used when first cited then no reference is needed unless you use another Bible version.

Reference list

Classical works should not be included in APA reference lists at all.
