A recent survey by the Reading Agency shows that we are turning to books during the current lockdown. Almost a third of us are reading more during lockdown, with that figure rising to 45% for 18-24 year olds. If that’s you, or if you’d like it to be, and you need some ideas of what to read next, join us for the Take a Break reading challenge this summer.
The plan is simple – read a book that matches each of the categories below. (If you can find a book that matches more than one category, that’s allowed!) We’ve gathered together some suggestions for each prompt. Suggestions include ebooks and audio books that you can access for free. Or find your own books and share your ideas using #suBetterRead.
The challenge runs until 25th September. If you don’t manage to read all your books by then, don’t worry – this is just for fun, so you can take as long as you want to! Let us know how you get on @SwanseaUniLib on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.
