iFind

iFind is the library’s main search tool. It allows you to search across:

  • eBooks and print books
  • Journal articles
  • Databases
  • Theses and more

Each of your modules in Canvas should have a reading list, created by your lecturers. Your reading list will link you to material that you can access in iFind. You can also access your reading lists through iFind Reading.

You can find guidance on using iFind below.

Searching for Books

Use iFind to search for books by:

  • Title (e.g., Introduction to Psychology)
  • Author (e.g., Smith, John)
  • Keywords (e.g., climate change policy)

iFind defaults to searching everything, which will include results for eBooks and phsyical copies of books on the library shelves. Use filters to narrow your results by format, date, or location. We recommend signing into iFind before you start your search. The sign in button is located at the top corner of iFind.
