Enhance your learning, teaching, and research via our Library Services.

Libraries & Collections will be hosting a professional development day to enhance academic colleague’s learning, teaching, and research skills (Thursday 25th July).

The day will feature 6 insightful talks covering a range or current and relevant topics, designed to enhance your knowledge and skills. Including a highlight session from our keynote speaker Claudia Paicu (SAGE Trainer).

Event location: Singleton Park Library Room 402 & Zoom.

Schedule:

10:00 – Introduction to Artificial Intelligence research tools.

10:30 – Introduction to video resources from the Library.

11:00 – Interval.

11:15 – iFind Reading.

12:00 – EndNote.

13:00 – Lunch break.

14:00 – Embedding and signposting Library classes to students (academic and information literacy skills).

14:45 – Interval.

15:00 – SAGE Research Methods Database.

16:00 – Optional tour of new Singleton Park Library spaces.
