Gobeithiwn eich bod chi i gyd yn cadw’n dda, yn gorfforol ac yn feddyliol, yn ystod y cyfnod anodd hwn. Mae poen profedigaeth yn rhywbeth y mae nifer ohonom ni, yn fyfyrwyr ac yn aelodau staff, wedi ei bofi. Er mwyn ein helpu ni gyda hyn, mae’r Llyfrgelloedd a Ffydd@BywydCampws wedi creu detholiad o lyfrau ac adnoddau ar-lein a fydd yn rhoi cymorth i ymdopi â phrofedigaeth i chi. Mae’r dolenni i’rholl adnoddau hyn a manylion am leoliad y llyfrau, wedi’u nodi ar restr ddarllen y Casgliad Lles (gweler yr adran Profedigaeth a Galar). 

Yn ogystal â hyn, mae Ffydd@BywydCampws yn cynnal grŵp Cymorth Profedigaeth ar gyfer myfyrwyr. Maent hefyd yn cynnig Gwasanaeth Gwrando y mae croeso i fyfyrwyr ac aelodau staff ei ddefnyddio. 

We hope that you are all keeping well in these difficult times, both physically and mentally.  The pain of bereavement is something that many of us, students and staff members, have had to endure.  To help with this the Libraries and Faith@CampusLife have put together a selection of books and online resources that provide support with bereavement.  You will find links to all of these resources, and details of where the books are kept, on the Wellbeing Collection reading list (see the Bereavement and Grief section).

In addition to this, Faith@CampusLife run a Bereavement Support group for students.  They also offer a Listening Service that both students and staff members are welcome to make use of.

Cofiwch ddychwelyd unrhyw eitemau sydd gennych ar fenthyg i'r Llyfrgell, a thalu am unrhyw ddirwyon ar eich cyfrif. Byddwch yn debyn tair neges e-bost yn eich atgoffa y caiff eich cyfrif TG ei ddileu ar ôl graddio. Rhowch gyfeiriad e-bost amgen i'ch cysylltiadau a dylech ddiogelu data personol efallai bydd ei angen arnoch yn y dyfodol.

I'r rhai a fydd yn dychwelyd ym mis Medi, byddwch yn ymwybodol:

• Os oes gennych lyfrau neu gyfnodolion ar fenthyg dros yr haf, bydd y rhain yn cael eu hadnewyddu'n awtomatig ac nid oes angen ichi boeni amdanynt.

• Dewch â gliniaduron sy'n dal i fod gennych ar fenthyg yn ôl i'r locer hunanwasanaeth yn y Llyfrgell lle gwnaethoch eu benthyg. Ni fydd y rhain yn adnewyddu'n awtomatig, a bydd y dirywon yn costio £10.00 y dydd.

• Os oes gennych bryderon ynghylch dychwelyd eitemau, rhowch wybod i dîm Gwasanaeth Cwsmeriaid GGS ar unwaith. Gallwch anfon llyfrau'n ôl drwy'r post atom, os oes angen. Edrychwch ar dudalennau gwe'r llyfrgell am fanylion cyswllt a chyfeiriadau post.

Os byddwch yn defnyddio Gwasanaethau’r Llyfrgell a TG dros yr haf:

• Ceir gwybodaeth gyfredol am oriau agor ac archebu mannau astudio ar ein tudalennau gwe.
• Bydd mynediad o bell at Gyfrifiaduron Personol myfyrwyr yn parhau i fod ar gael.
• Bydd benthyciadau gliniaduron hunanwasanaeth am bythefnos yn dal i fod ar gael gan Lyfrgelloedd y Bae a Pharc Singleton. Ni ellir adnewyddu'r rhain a bydd yn rhaid eu dychwelyd i'r locer lle cawsant eu benthyg erbyn y dyddiad dyledus.

To those of you who are finishing your studies and leaving Swansea, good luck!

Don’t forget to return any items you have out on loan to the Library and to clear any fines from your account. You will receive emails reminding you that your IT account will be disabled after graduation. Please advise contacts of an alternative email address and secure any personal data you may require in the future.

For those of you returning in September, please be aware:

• If you have books or journals out on loan over the summer, they will continue to auto-renew and you don’t need to worry about them.

• Please return any outstanding laptop loans promptly to the self-service locker at the Library where you borrowed them. These will not auto-renew and fines are £10.00 per day.

• If you have concerns about returning any items, please let the ISS Customer Service team know right away. You can post books back to us, if necessary. Please look at the Library webpages for contact details and postal addresses.

If you’re using Library and IT Services over the Summer:

• You’ll find up to date information on opening times and study space bookings on our webpages.
• Remote access to student PCs will continue to be available.
• Two-week self-service laptop loans will continue to be available from Bay and Singleton Park Libraries. These are non-renewable and must be returned to the locker where they were borrowed by the due date.

 On June 29^th 2021 our iFind system supplier will be updating iFind for us. 

This will have many benefits and will bring new features to iFind, but there is one thing you need to be aware of:

In iFind, you can save items and save searches.

Saved searches

Save searches using the Save Query button below the search box (must be signed in). 

Saved Searches will not transfer to the new version of iFind and will be cleared on June 29th 2021. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Save items using the Pin icon. 

Saved Items (also called records) will transfer to the updated iFind.

View your saved searches

To view your current saved searches, select the Saved Searches tab under My Favorites. We recommend saving a screenshot of your saved searches to re-create them after the system update.
