Beyond books and journals

For some projects you will need to look at more than books and journals. This tab gives an idea of other sources available.

Newspapers not only tell you what is happening in the news, they reflect society and can help with all kinds of topics. For example, you could use them to look at crime, cities, the impact of natural disasters, national identity and a lot more.

The archives listed below are the most likely to be of use for geography projects but if your project has a historical angle it is also worth having a look at the history library guide which has additional sites.

The library has a collection of printed atlases. They are shelved in AV Rm 1 which can be found on Level 2 of the Library beyond books with the call number DA.
