In text citations

Example:

Reference list

Last name, Initial(s)., & Last name, Initial(s). (Year). Title (Initial(s), Last name, Trans.; ed.). Publisher. (Original work published yyyy).

Example:
Laplace, P. S. (1951). A philosophical essay on probabilities. (F. W. Truscott & F. F. L. Emory, Trans.). Dover. (Original work published 1814).

Note: When you cite a republished work, like the one above, in your text it should appear with both dates: Laplace (1814/1951).
